Walgreens Family Prescription Management #WalgreensRX, #shop, #cbias

A few years ago, during the kids regular doctor visit, the pediatrician gave them a prescription for multivitamins with fluoride. Why you ask, well the water supply in our neighborhood has low levels of fluoride so they need fluoride supplements to prevent tooth decay. Since then, we’ve been a faithful user of Walgreens Family Prescription Management. It offers us the convenience we need to manage our family’s prescriptions plus it gives us access to features like refill reminders and pharmacy chat. Those two features have been our saving grace on more than one occasion.

Walgreens Family Prescription Management
Through the family prescription management portal, we were able to do prescription transfers when our old pharmacy decided they would no longer honor our insurance.

Ability to Print and View Prescription History
The portal has also been instrumental in us managing our prescription history. We can not only keep track of the kids vitamins, we also have access to their immunization history, which came in handy recently when the daycare asked for it. The site also offers the ability to request a complete paper record of your Walgreens prescriptions for up to 10 years.

in-store pick up or free shipping
When we created the account we set it up so its on automatic refill and every month when our prescription is ready, we get a text message alerting us to come by and pick it up. At which point, either myself or my husband stops by to get it, or we have it mailed to us, using their free shipping option. It’s quick, convenient and it saves us from wondering when the next prescription is due to be filled.
I’m curious though, how are you currently managing your family’s prescription refills?
