Easy Healthy Habits to Fit into Your Busy Lifestyle
I can’t believe we are 16 days into the New Year already. How are your resolutions coming along? One of my resolution this year is to incorporate some easy healthy habits into my busy life. The last few days, I’ve been looking at different ways I can streamline my day and how to be more effective with my time. For instance, I sat my children down and talked to them about the importance of pitching in as a family. If they can help out a little, it will leave me some time to do more things that are pressing and hopefully contribute to growing my business.

- Prioritize Me Time – Self Care is the ultimate healthy habit to incorporate. With a busy schedule, self-care seems elusive but we make time for things that are important and our health should always come first.
- Eat Clean – Ideally incorporating vegetables into your daily food intake will be perfect but being cautious of what you ingest is also just as important, that includes limiting your sugar intake.

Speaking of running a business, I often find myself at the end of the day depleted because I forgot to eat or too busy to get up and make lunch for myself. Which in turn leads to me snacking and instantly regretting my choices. To put a stop to that, I incorporated some easy frozen food options, like these new Healthy Choice Morning, as well as Vegetarian & Vegan Power Bowls. So far, I have tried the Cauliflower Curry and the Pesto & Egg White Scramble both were surprisingly pleasant and filling. Historically, frozen food gets a bad reputation but this quick morning bowl and veggie bowl offered flavors without compromising taste.
While I don’t consider myself a vegan or vegetarian, I did enjoy trying these out. The power bowls made it easy for me to get lunch or breakfast on the table on days that I’m stretched too thin. To kick these bowls up a notch, you can pair them with a bowl of salad or fruits. Each vegan and vegetarian bowl is packed with about 10-16 grams of protein and 7-16 grams of fiber per serving. For the morning bowls, it is 10-15 grams of protein and 3-5 grams of fiber.
