I love ice cream, my favorite flavor are between dulce de leche and chocolate chip cookie dough. I know they are two completely different flavors but I like them for various reasons.  Make this a family affair by inviting the kids to join in on the fun, have them help you with the candied cherry or they can pick their favorite toppings to go with their helping.
