I have been compensated for this Kia EcoDynamics Ride and Drive post by Kia Motors. However, all opinions expressed are 100% mine.
Gone are the days when only tree huggers care about the environment. With everything going on right now in the world, being conscious of our eco footprint is more important than ever. If you follow me on social media then you know, I was in San Diego the last couple of days learning all about Kia’s EcoDynamics vehicles. I was surprised to learn that Kia offered quite a few varieties. They have the Kia Soul EV, Kia Optima Hybrid or Optima Hybrid Plug-in and Kia Niro
At the moment, we have a Kia Sorento but after taking the Niro for a spin, I have to say, I am highly interested in learning more and seeing how it can fit into my family’s lifestyle. When it comes to eco-friendly cars, Kia has an ECO Hybrid, ECO Electric, ECO Plugin and ECO Fuel cell.

An important takeaway from the event was learning about all the benefits that come with driving an eco-friendly vehicle. So if you’re in the market for a new car or you’re on the fence about the importance of owning an eco-friendly car, here are some ideas to consider.
4 Reasons to Buy an Eco-Friendly Vehicle
- Cost Effective.
It goes without saying that, driving an Eco-Friendly Vehicle will save you money in the long run. How is that possible, you ask? For starters, you will save money on gas. For example, the 2018 Kia Optima plug-in hybrid can last up to 610 miles on a single tank of gas.
- Good for the environment.
By driving an eco-friendly vehicle, you will be doing your part to do less in polluting the air. Hybrid cars emit less pollution than gas vehicles. The Kia Soul EV is the first mass-market zero-emission, battery electric vehicle.
- Lots of options.
I was amazed at the options that were out there when it comes to hybrid, electric, plug-in, etc As long as you have an idea, what would fit your family’s lifestyle, picking out of these options becomes easy.
- Financial Incentives
In an effort to encourage a green lifestyle, the IRS is offering electric vehicle tax credits. To learn more about it and to see if you quality, check out the IRS website.
Did you know Kia Motors ranked 35th in the 2014 best global green brand? And that’s not all, Kia also won the J.D. Power award for best initial quality. They’ve been in the business for awhile and it makes me happy to see them thriving and continuing to improve the quality of their vehicles.
