Nutri Ninja Blender Duo with Auto-iQ Review
Earlier this year, I was sent the Nutri Ninja Blender Duo with Auto-iQ as a late Christmas gift and early birthday present. I know right, who sends a blender as a gift. Apparently someone who cares about my well being. I’ve been obsessing over my weight lately. Seriously, I was talking to just about anyone that would listen, so when I got the blender I didn’t hesitate to tear the box open and set it up. Setting up the blender was beyond easy, right out the box I was able to try one of the recipes in the 3-day jump-start plan pamphlet that accompanied the blender. The “top o’ the morning super juice” is one of my favorite, a must-try if you purchase the blender.
Nutri Ninja Blender Duo with Auto-iQ Review
Design
The Nutri Ninja Blender is well-built with its aesthetically pleasing modern design and blue back-lit touch-button control. The Nutri Ninja Blender comes with 72-ounce BPA-free pitcher and 3 serving cups (18-ounce, 24-ounce and 32-ounce). It measures 17.5 inches tall and 6 inches wide.
Performance
With 1500 watts, this powerful machine can make smoothies, soups, dips, grated cheese, bread crumbs, salsa, milkshakes, plus mix your batter. It’s hard not to like this blender, I mean it knocked my socks off and I am a hard sell. So if you’re on the fence regarding buying this specific model, go ahead and pick up one because it more than lives up to it’s name. I’ve had it for about 3 months, so testing has ranged from chopping nuts for salad to mixing ingredients to make muffin. It provides enough power for hard to blend food items like nuts, grains but it also offer the delicate cycle if you just want to pulse, chop or mix. Making smoothies and frozen drinks was a breeze. You can do a lot with the 8 preset modes and user-manual which helped take the guesswork out of which feature to use.
Features
At first try, I was a bit taken aback by the lock feature of the lid but I can see why it was designed that way. It vacuum sealed for optimal performance and safety precaution. The blade is removable which makes it super easy to clean, the blade is razor sharp so you have to be extremely careful. To clean the parts, you can place the blender pitcher and cups in the dishwasher, the lids and attachment can be placed on the top rack to avoid damaging it. My old blender was a hassle to clean mainly because of the parts and design elements; I could never fully clean it, so I really love the fact that the pieces comes apart without any hard to reach section.

It’s worth noting that prior to using the Nutri Ninja Duo BL642 Auto iQ Blender, I had one of those low grade $40 blender; No bells and whistle just a basic blender, however it had been my go-to workhorse for 6 years. My mom on the other hand, has a $800 blender and even she was impress at the sheer capability of what my Ninja can do. Go figure.
Conclusion
The Nutri Ninja Blender Duo with Auto-iQ definitely lives up to the expectation. If you’re looking for a blender that multitask and it’s reasonably priced, look no further. The 3 travel size Ninja cup gives you the flexibility you need to take this baby on the go.
