2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE Review
The 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE is a mid-sized sedan that drives like a sport car. When Toyota reached out to me to test drive the 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE. I hate to admit it, but I was a bit apprehensive. It’s not a reflection on the brand though. My mother-in-law has had her Toyota Camry for almost 15 years and it’s still going strong. I just wasn’t sure if it would fit our lifestyle but it impressed me. I noticed the car for the first time last year while at the Oprah Life You Want Tour. What caught my attention was the mesh front grille. It looked slick, and sexy you can’t miss it.

The 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE comes with 2.5-liter and 4 cylinder engine which produces 200-horsepower. This car isn’t for someone that wants to blend into the crowd, it commands attention. It could be because of blue crush metallic paint, the 17 in alloy wheels or the rear spoiler. When I drove it to pick up my daughter from school, I received lots of compliment at the pickup line. One of the parents said to me “That’s a sexy sport car”; I responded with a smile, it’s the 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid. It appealed to everyone. It has very good fuel economy, giving us about 40 miles per gallon. The Camry drives really smooth, and it’s super quiet.
The interior was surprisingly roomy and can seat five people comfortably (3 adults and 2 kids in booster seats). The interior has grey fabric seats with leather trim. The trunk has a fair amount of storage space. A leather wrapped steering wheel with comprehensive control so you can access the entertainment system, navigation system and activate voice control.

The middle console has a 6.1 inch LCD touch screen for the navigation, audio system and backup camera. It has voice recognition which was quiet impressive and user friendly. I was able to connect my Bluetooth enabled phone without any hiccups. Your text message can be read out loud, so you don’t have a need to check your phone while driving.
You can control most of the entertainment system using buttons on the steering wheel. It has dual zone climate control, so the driver and passenger can ride comfortably. For someone like me that love music, I was happy to see the various entertainment option that the Camry had. The JBL GreenEdge audio system with six speakers. You can access SiriusXM, HD Radio, CDs, MP3s using the built in storage, Bluetooth, or USB. Through the Entune App Suite, you can access Pandora and iHeartRadio. It doesn’t end there, it also has OpenTable, MovieTickets.com, Yelp, Facebook, and you can also get fuel prices, sports scores, stocks, traffic/weather update. The middle console has a hidden storage space with built-in Qi charging station so you can charge your Qi-compatible phone at the push of a button.
There is a 4.2 inch display system so you can see incoming call information, turn-by-turn navigation, distance to empty, speed, and energy consumption.
