Free Health Screening – Walgreens Wellness Tour
When was the last time you had a health screening? I know I am guilty of putting my health on the back burner. The girls are always up to date on their yearly check up yet I neglect to take care of myself. Every year I vow to do better but life gets in the way, and ten months later I am still working on it. Walgreens has partnered with The National Urban League to provide free health screening to anyone over the age of 18.
Walgreens Wellness Tour
The health tour’s bundle of free health tests and risk assessments is designed to provide participants with personal health insights that may indicate symptoms and potential risks for cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
Do you’ve a question about your cholesterol level? Looking for tips on staying healthy? Then join Walgreens at one of these locations. The test takes about 20 minutes, and certified wellness staff will administer it. After the test, you can sit down with the certified wellness staff to discuss the findings. The best part, it’s FREE. Hello, need I say more.
They will measure ten key health indicators that include total cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, body composition, skeletal muscle, resting metabolism, visceral fat, real body age and body weight. All for FREE, no insurance needed. Now you’ve no excuse.
The test is valued at over $100, and it’s available throughout the New York/New Jersey area, so put it on your calendar, it’s from October 16 – October 30. Please do it for yourself, do it for your family and most importantly do it because early detection is the key.
I will be stopping by one of these location and will share my experience with you, make sure you’re following on instagram and twitter
