7 Ways to Wear White after Labor Day

Labor Day is upon us which means every female is dreading the can I wear white after labor day decision. Wearing white after Labor Day is said to be a faux pas, but frankly I am a rebel so my vote is, as long as you want to wear white, throw the rules out the window and show off that white jeans you got at the end of summer sale. I won’t judge you,  and if anyone ask why you’re wearing white after labor day, tell them I said it’s okay. Seriously though, direct them to this Time magazine article, that explains where the rule came from and why it’s no longer a thing. Here are seven ways you can wear white after labor day using some of the top 2015 fall trends.

My favorite picks from this share are the patterned pants, the blue jumpsuit and the leopard print clutch. Prints and patterned designs are so in right now. At Stein Mart, we share so many great brands that are showing off this look. Even Peck & Peck is getting on board with it and jumpsuits are such a great way to dress up or show off some casual style, depending on shoe choice. Then of course, the right purse can make fashion more edgy which is the case with the leopard print or animal print clutch. Thanks for this share. I really like it!

  2. A real girl wears white whenever she feels like it. Love that second look!

  3. I love a great jumpsuit. The blue one on here is perfect for me, and now I know what I can wear with it! Thanks for the “wear white after Labor Day” tips.

  4. I love that duster coat and the blue jumpsuit. Blue is my color!

  5. I don’t know, maybe I’m too traditional. I just packed up all my white jeans and pants. I like winter white, but not until winter. I do have to scrub white pants so much that I appreciate the break!!!

  6. Thanks for all the great ideas! I never did like that rule. I always thought “they” can’t tell me when to wear my super cute white clothes. I love the white jeans!

I love your ideas on how to wear white! I like wearing my white t-shirt with my jeans and a colorful scarf. I have one pair of nice white jeans that I wear with my black top!

I love the different styles you have here, and I don’t mind wearing white over the winter as long as its not too much white, more pops of color here and there.
