Score Big on Game Day with El Monterey Taquitos {Giveaway}

I remember when I met my husband it was right in the middle of football season, so I knew early on if our relationship was going to work – I would have to learn to love football. Well, almost 14 years later we’re still going strong. I might not love football but we found a happy medium – Game Day munchies. I’m a foodie and any activities that involves eating I’m all for it. Frankly with the Big Game coming up I’m excited about spending time with my family, seeing the commercials, and enjoying the food.
Although, I can’t predict how the game will go, I can rest assured knowing that the food will be a touchdown. Thanks to my easy breezy game day menu choices. I can’t for the life of me understand why the game is on Sunday, we have work and school the next day so frankly the last thing I want to do is slave away in the kitchen so for the big game, I opted for a quick and easy appetizer that’s sure to please even the most discerning palate (that would be my husband’s high brow friends). On the menu is El Monterey Taquitos – Best Taquitos of the Big Game.
How did I come to that conclusion, well the last couple of weeks we’ve had a chance to feast on the Nacho Cheese and Jalapeno Shell Shockers, Southwest Chicken, and Taco Beef & Cheese battered Taquitos. If I had to describe them all in one word it will be authentic.
My family enjoyed the authentic Mexican taste of the El Monterey Taquitos and they were so versatile. We’ve had fun pairing it with a few different sides. It can be eaten as an appetizer if paired with salsa, guacamole or a bean dip. You can turn it into an entrée by pairing it with yellow rice and black beans, the list is endless. Seriously, the family guzzled them up in record time. They were crispy and full of flavor. Our favorite way to eat them is with my Refried bean dip and its so easy to make.
