Second: Welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff. As I browse the store, I was surprise by the cool and amazing things that kept popping up in each aisle. 5 Amazing Finds at Walmart
- Fresh, Quality Produce at Everyday Low Price
Did you know that Walmart offers fresh produce at affordable prices. Plus if you find a lower advertised price on the same thing, they will match the price. I got fresh pineapple for an upcoming recipe.
- Top-rated Cookware Set
I am ashamed to admit that even though I love to cook, I don’t have a cookware set. My pots and pans were purchased individually. Yes, I know how dare . So, when I spotted this 10 piece Calphalon cookware set, my heart skipped a beat.
- Latest Tech/Gadgets at affordable price
I was pleasantly surprise by the assortment of tech options on display. From tablet to laptops and Ultrabook – they had it all. I found a 15.6″ HP Quad-Core on sale for $300 – need I say more.
- Natural Hair Care Products at Low Prices
I was happy to see a whole section specifically dedicated to natural hair. It’s hard to find beauty products for African Americans especially someone like me with natural hair but I was impressed by Walmart’s extensive collection. From Cantu Shea Butter to Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream they had it all.
- Fabrics
Did you know that Walmart sell Fabrics? DIY Enthusiast Rejoice. Walmart has a large assortment of fabric, perfect for sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, knitting or crochet. I found a few fabrics that would be perfect as a pillow cover. They also had sewing patterns for someone like me. One of the things on my life list is to learn how to sew. I bought a sewing machine awhile back but never quiet got around to actually doing much with it. With fabric prices as low as $2.99 per yard, I may have found my summer project.
Overall, I was pleasured with my experience. I met the Pillsbury Doughboy and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes Mascot, Tony the Tiger.
