KidzVuz 2013 Holiday House Party Recap #KVHoliday
A few weeks ago, my daughter and I attended the KidzVuz 2013 Holiday House Party, an exclusive event for local media outlets and their kids. This was my daughter’s first industry event and my first time attending the annual event. KidzVuz is a video review site for kids age 7-12. Its a great community of tweens sharing their views on toys they love and enjoy.
I had a chance to mingle with various brands while my daughter tested some of the hottest toys of the season and shared her opinions on the ones she liked. The event had something for everyone, while my daughter got a skin consultation from Clear Start, I had a mini facial and face mapping courtesy of Dermalogica. We danced to music by kid DJ, Kai from FuziPop

Enjoyed the arts and craft station set up by Downtown Bookworks where we decorated cookies and designed bracelets.

She couldn’t get enough of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, when we got home she added an addendum to her letter to Santa.

We made some friends at the Hasbro booth while playing Nerf Rebelle and testing out the awesome Furby Boom.

We went shopping at the Kawaii Crush Hyper Happy Mall

One of the crowd favorite was Nintendo America, they had a station set up with Wii, WiiU, Wii Fit, 3DS, and 2DS.
Other brands that were in attendance includes
- HomewoodSuites by Hilton
- audible.com
- Battery Pop
- The ESRB
- The Broadway League bringing Kids Night on Broadway to theaters around the country
Overall, we had an amazing time my daughter took home a nice gift bag and she couldn’t stop talking about the event. She’s already begging me to make sure I take her next year. Huge thanks to Nancy, Rebecca and the whole KidzVuz team for putting together a great event and for including us in the festivities.

Looks and sounds like a fabulous time learning more about the companies and different products. Glad your daughter enjoyed herself. Love the station setups.

That looks like a great event. I love she was able to play and try out so many toys. I wish we could all do that before we buy.
