Butterball Cookbook Plus App Review
We recently discovered a pretty nifty-cooking app that will be invaluable in helping us plan and cook our holiday meals. Butterball Cookbook Plus App gives you access to over 250 recipes, how-to-videos, shopping guides, and helps make holiday menu planning a breeze.
Butterball® Cookbook Plus also features in-app purchases for additional themed recipe packs including a “Gluten-Free Thanksgiving”. It has an international menu, which is a good way to try my hands at new cuisine and broaden my palate.
I liked the meal builder feature, because I can create a whole menu complete with appetizer, entrée, and complimentary dessert which makes this app a winner.
With “my recipe book“, I got a chance to bookmark a few recipes within the app that I want to try later and it also allows me to add recipes from my personal collection. The “store” offers 5 FREE recipes every month. For the month of November, I downloaded – Greek Marinated Turkey Breast, Peas with Turkey Bacon & Onions, Pumpkin Pie Sundae, and Stuffing Cranberry Muffin.
It offers a great way to network with friends and family by giving me the option to share my recipe via Facebook, email or print.
My husband on the other hand, was happy to learn how to carve a turkey just in time for Thanksgiving by watching the “How to Carve a Turkey” video, he can now proudly display his turkey carving skills with some finesse.
Additional noteworthy features are, Voice Commands, which offers the ability to control the app using simple commands. The Kitchen Tools offers access to multiple timers, substitution lists, and measurement conversion charts, while the Shopping List, gives me a way to tag ingredients directly from a recipe and add them to my shopping list, which I can then print or email to my husband. So if you’re looking for a year round app that can help make family meal solutions a breeze then I highly recommend checking out the Butterball Cookbook Plus App.
Butterball Cookbook Plus is FREE for a limited time and its available for iPad®, iPhone®, and iPod Touch®. Visit Butterball to learn more or connect with them on Facebook, follow them on Twitter or you can follow their board on Pinterest.
Compensation was received, the honest opinions are my own.

This app sounds great. I’m going to go get it. My app is usually one of about 10 phone calls to my mom…aka the butterball hotline:)

I love apps like this – I find it handy to have something really close at my fingertips and I don’t want to look ridiculous by phoning someone to ask for something that’s probably really simple!
