First Official Trailer release for ‘Black Or White’

Published on

The first official trailer has been released for ‘Black or White’, the forthcoming race relations drama starring Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer.

With the shooting of Michael Brown and most recently the death of Eric Garner, race relations has been at the forefront of most conversation at the water cooler and among friends and families. Academy Award® winner Kevin Costner stars with Academy Award® nominee Octavia Spencer in this racial drama about a man (Kevin Costner) whose wife suddenly died so he’s left to raise his bi-racial granddaughter alone. When the little girl’s paternal grandmother (Octavia Spencer) seeks custody, a legal battle ensues that forces the families to confront their true feelings on race, forgiveness and understanding.

Based on the trailer, this looks like it will be a good movie. However, I am curious to see how this movie tackles cultural difference.

OH This looks GOOD! Really good.
Why haven’t I heard of this yet? I mean I don’t watch much on the networks, but I do watch the News and I haven’t see it advertised.
