Easy Way to Collect More Box Tops For Your School
I can’t quite put my hand on the day I started collecting box tops. I know I had begun before having kids, I believe a coworker asked me to clip them and bring them to work so she can use it for her children and it became a part of me. Long after leaving that company, I find myself clipping and saving. Fast forward a few more years; I am married with school-aged kids of my own, and I have to do the same for my girls. Asking friends and coworker to clip are one of many ways to collect more box tops for your school.
Every year as the kids prepare to head back to school; I find myself thinking of ways to better contribute to the school overall goals and objectives. Our girls attend private school, and their school relies on parents like me to donate or assist with fundraising efforts to support extracurricular activities. From yearly carnivals to golf tournaments the school has it covered. However, I try to do my best to help any way possible, hence Box Top for Education. Here is some easy way to collect more box tops for your School:
Easy Way to Collect More Box Tops For Your School
Look and Find. Don’t know where to start. Get up right now, and look around your house for packages with box top clips. From your morning cereals to kids yogurts. Box Top coupons are everywhere. You might be oblivious to them before but once you make the commitment to clip them you will start to notice them in just about everything in your pantry. You already have the items you need to get started, take the first step and clip them.
Be Vigilant. Be on the look out for box tops products and stock up while you can. For example, Walmart is currently running a promo that offers extra boxtop. When you purchase specified General Mills products this summer, Walmart is offering 5 box tops instead of one. That means 5 times the impact of just buying the products you love! Hello, not sure about you but I am planning on using that promo to my advantage. I know our school can use all the box tops they can get. you can buy a whole lot of school supplies. Buy, Clip, Send = Earn!
Keep Track. I learned the hard way that box top coupons expires. Yes, imagine saving up years of coupons only to find out they have expires. That was my reality when I first started collecting them. Now to ensure that I send them out before they expire. I created a little storage container and made a mental note to drop it off at school as often as possible.
Offer Fun Incentives for Donation. I know it seems counter-productive, offering gifts for donations but in the long run, it will pay off. It doesn’t have to be something elaborate, maybe free ice creams for kids that donate 50 or more box tops.
Ask Friends and Family to Contribute. I don’t know about you, but I hate harassing my family to order from those catalogs, but I find it easier to ask them to give me their trash. I’m not asking for money just a box or bag from their veggies.
To help with your effort, I am giving away $40 to purchase some box tops products so you can clip some for your child’s school. This should hopefully help you jump start the school year on a good note.
