Wow, it’s really great that VSP was able to provide over 140 underprivileged kids with free eyecare and eyewear. I’m also glad Tyreke Evans was able to be there.

I love basketball as was actually able to attend several camps when I was in school. I think they are a great way to help kids learn skills as well as build their confidence. This is great that he is taking time to do this and work with the community. It will really make a difference.

How neat that he comes back for this camp! Many people take their vision for granted until it is too late, or don’t have the means to get screenings, this is a great cause.

As a child we didn’t know how bad my vision problems were until after I got my first pair of eyeglasses. That’s when I was shocked to learn bowling pins had stripes.

How awesome of him! I love when celebrities come back and take care of their home town. We have a lot of really great athletes that have come out of Pensacola – and they all are still very present in our community. Makes us cheer for them even louder.

How neat for the community to have one of their own come back and share his time and encouragement with the kids. And what a fabulous campaign. I have ampliopia which was not diagnosed until I was in my mid 20s and caused me so much stress as a kid! I would read the same line over and over and thought I was stupid. Vision problems can do so much harm when undetected and most are easy to correct. I
