The Homemade Kremas Recipe You Need In Your Life

This homemade kremas recipe is the tasty and festive holiday cocktail you need to spice up your party and get-togethers. I had my first taste of rhum raisin cremas last summer at a friend’s house, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I remember telling her how much I loved it and how it would make a great addition to any dessert recipe.

Delight your friends this Holiday with this homemade kremas recipe. It’s the perfect drink to ring in the New Year. Kremas is a popular Haitian drink similar to Irish cream or Puerto Rican coquito.

Kremas RecipeTo help you familiarize yourself with cremas. I have decided to answer some questions on how to better enjoy the drink. What kind of liquor should you use to spike your kremas? Well, that question is a matter of preference. I’ve tried it with three types of rum (see image above) – dark rum from Guyana, dark rum from Jamaica and a white rum from Jamaica. Sadly, the jury is still out, hence, the reason the recipe called for a high-quality rum. If you ask Haitians, they will tell you that nothing beats a Haitian rum.  Is homemade kremas suppose to be hot or cold? It may be served hot or cold but for optimal flavor cold is the preferred method. Is there a non-alcoholic version of kremas for the kids? Yes, kremas can be enjoyed by children as well just make sure you leave out the rum.
