DIY Snowflake Bath Bombs
- Wilton 12 ct silicone mold
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 cup citric acid
- ½ cup coconut oil
- 10 drops peppermint essential oil
- 3-4 drops blue soap colorant
- Wilton snowflake icing decorations
- Preheat oven to 140°.
- Place the baking soda, citric acid and corn starch in a large glass or metal bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Add the coconut oil, peppermint essential oil and blue soap colorant. Stir well until you have achieved your desired shade of blue.
- Transfer the mixture into the silicone mold and fill each mold, up to the top. The mixture will look and feel like sand granules.
- Place the mold on a cookie sheet and into the preheated oven. Turn the oven off and leave the door closed for 1 hour.
- Remove the silicone mold from the oven and immediately place the snowflake icing decorations into the middle of each bath bomb, pressing down gently.
- Allow the bath bombs to air dry for an additional 8 hours.
- Carefully pop the bath bombs out of their molds and store in a mason jar or other airtight glass container.
- ENJOY!!
