The 2018 American Girl of the Year – Luciana Vega is one of my favorite reveal to date. My 11 year old currently has an interest in Science, it’s one of her favorite subject in school and I have tried to encourage and nurture her interest. So when the 2018 American Girl doll of the year was announced, both of my girls were excited to watch and marvel at the announcement. They promptly added her to their wish list. They are already obsessed because they think Luciana is cool. I overheard them talking on the phone about it with one of their friends and they are currently plotting on how to attend science camp. They even made a list of accessories they want. I told them they better start saving up all their money.

I have always encouraged my girls when it comes to S.T.E.M and Luciana Vega inspires them which is why I like her.
