MALEFICENT - Activity Sheets + Light & Dark - Featurette

With MALEFICENT opening in theaters on Friday, May 30th. I wanted to share some fun activity sheets, coloring pages and mazes to keep the enthusiasm going. The film stars Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville. Reminder MALEFICENT is rated PG and can be enjoyed by the whole family. My family saw an extended clip while at the Disney Social Media Mom conference and the kids haven’t stopped talking about it. We’ve already set a family date night for May 30th and can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

“Maleficent” explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty” and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.

This movie looks so good. I can’t wait to see it; I’m thinking this will be a family occasion. I love how they’re re-visiting fairy tales and certain characters in shows and movies more and more recently.
