Raspberry Apple Tart

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup cold butter
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3 cups apple, sliced
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a tart pan
  2. For the crust, add all the ingredients into a food processor
  3. and pulse until getting a thick dough.
  4. Push it with your hands on the pan and save some dough for the decoration.
  5. Take to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. For the filling, in a pot over low heat combine the apple slices, raspberries, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Let it simmer for 5 minutes
  7. Fill the pie crust with the mixture and decorate it with dough strip arranged in a perpendicular pattern.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until done. Remove from the oven and let it cool down.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
