2013 Style Trends: 8 Trendy Spring Dresses for Women #FashionFriday

We’re a few weeks into spring but the weather here in New Jersey hasn’t been all that great. I refuse to let the less than perfect weather ruin my mood  though so for this week I’ve complied 8 looks for 2013 spring fashion trend for women. My favorite is the pattern dress – its super chic and I love the colors.

Shirt Dress is just as the name says – its a dress that looks like a shirt i.e it has a color, button front and cuffed sleeves. Its usually paired with a nice belt to accentuate the waist and its flattering for most body types.

Skater Dress has a fitted bodice and flares out at the natural waist. You can pair it with a nice cardigan and pumps for a demure look or fishnet and booties for an edgy look.

Hi-Low Dress has an asymmetrical hem, the back hem is higher than the front. If you love geometric pattern then this is a good fit, it bit too dramatic for every day wear but its a nice flirty look.

Pleat Dress has an accordion like look, not sure if this look is for everyone because the pleat add fullness from the waist or hips. This is done to allow freedom of movement, but it also draws attention to the hips keep that in mind if you’re interested in a pleat dress.

Ruffle Dress is another look use to create flounce or movement. Ruffle Dresses are flirty, innocent and sophisticated.

I with you…I love the pattern dresses!! You’ve picked out some lovely ones too. I’m always drawn to the feminine shades of pinks and flattering blues.

I love all of these, but I am coveting that polka dot dress with the ruffle in front! Which part of NJ are you in? We should go shopping sometime! 😀

My fave is the vintage pink. What’s old is new again.

You are so cool! I don’t suppose I’ve read a single thing like this before. So good to discover somebody with some original thoughts on this topic. Really.. many thanks for starting this up. This website is one thing that is required on the web, someone with some originality!
