I’m heading to CES next month, and one of the conference track I’m excited to check out is the session titled, Five Trends Driving the Future of Gaming. I’m a huge gamer, and I enjoy learning about the latest trends in tech.

In a recent study done by IDC, Window phones saw an increase of 156.0% in 2013 when compared to the previous year while Android accounted for 81.0% of all smartphone that shipped in the third quarter of 2013. The sheer amount of power that these phones have is incredible when compared to 10 years ago. The hardest part about mobile phones is the actual decision you have to make when choosing one as the market has hundreds of different models available. This year’s best models that do stand out from the rest include Google’s Nexus 5. It is a phone that is incredibly powerful yet slim and sleek and comfortable to hold. With the quad core processor powering the fantastic 5 inch screen you be sure that playing games on it for a long period of time will neither stress your eyes or  the phone itself.

Another make that you should definitely look out for is LG, and with its latest phone the LG G2 you can’t go wrong , just like the Nexus it has a quad core processor and a 1080p screen which makes gaming a simply fantastic experience. No matter where you are all the games will run exactly how they are supposed to. These mobile phones now offer all the entertainment you could ever want with videos and music as well as games.
